This is an excellent park around 20 minutes from the city centre. During the weekends, the park also puts on various events. Some parts of the park very much resemble a city park, whereas other parts permit the visitor to get lost in nature. An added bonus is the fact that there are signs at the entrances that state 'No Dogs Allowed'. However, this isn't too strictly enforced, especially if the dog in question is to be kept on a lead.

We visited for a few hours whilst waiting for our hotel check in time. The park itself is nice enough. Unfortunately though our car was broken in to in the middle of the car park on a busy afternoon, so I wouldn't advise parking there.

This is a great park with many trails for running (which I did one morning around 7:30 am since it was the only park in Rennes open this early) and was the only one around except the bunnies jumping around. I returned with my husband for a lazy afternoon in the sun Ethan beer and pastries, there are many park benches around, as well as plenty of spots for picnics. Worth a visit!

Just on the outskirts of Rennes this is a beautiful park with good parking and facilities. Children will love the wildlife, especially the deer. Take a picnic!

We had a wander around the park after doing the tree-top adventure. The park is mostly woodland with a few large open areas. There are also many other things here such as an ice rink, swimming pool, play area, table tennis, skate ramp, and a small farm. Everything is very well maintained. Such a lovely place to be. If this was near home, I think I'd come here regularly.

We went to the Parc des Gayeulles yesterday and had such a great time there.
First of all, it is BIG! It is a mix between a forest and a park. There is a huge swimming pool, a pond, a skating rink, a playground and a farm. We were able to see some sheep, goats, rams, geese, and deer! The weather was warm, everything was perfect!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PARK TO GO TO!!!

Not friendly at all. There are signs to follow if you have a dog... But it only leads you to a small patch of land with a couple of benches. EVERYWHERE else says no dogs allowed passed said point. This cuts out 95% of the rest of the park

This parc it's huge, stunning, with lots of different animals, lots of lakes and a small river. It's the ideal place for meditating, jogging, and walking.

I'm writing this review as a runner. This is a great place for a run--or even a walk. I ran here from my hotel near the train station so it took me about 15-20 minutes. Once here at the park, you can run the loops on paths surrounded by trees. There are some workout stations if you want to do some extra exercise like pull ups.
