We were in Rennes on a Saturday morning after a visit to Mont St Michel and prior to flying to London. We walked around the historic old town and paid a visit to the Saturday market at Marche des Lices. There were plenty of vendors...More

This is the best market in the city of Rennes for fresh fruit and vegetables, fish and meat. It is roughly divided into fruit and vegetables stalls along the road that runs from the bottom to the top of the market. Fresh fish stalls are...More

Food only... no clothing, no merchandise. This is an Outstanding Market, some meat, fish, cheese, farm products inside, mostly fruit and veg outside! Covering what must be a couple or 3 acres it’s everything you could possibly ask for... diverse products and people. We bought...More

An incredible experience. The products are gorgeous and cover everything you can think of. I wish we were staying somewhere with a kitchen. We did have a galette and picked up a few nonperishables. We found a reasonable parking deck just next door.

Whenever we're home, we stop here for fruits, flowers, cidre, galette-saucisse, cheese... You name it, they have it, and it's good!

Possibly but you must be willing to park a bit far and walk 10/15 minutes or so (which can be really pleasant to discover the city)
