This is in a nice area of St Malo which we visit on hired bicycles. Good cafes nearby, and sometimes a flea market. The museum itself is well laid out and informative.

This tower shows some of the maritime history of the area particularly the sailors who went around Cape Horn and to Canada - it is all in French and the little brochure in English sadly wasnt much help - BUT the view from the top...More

When you purchase a ticket at Fort National, you gain free entry at Tour Solidor. Whilst the the display is similar to that of Fort National, its makes no allowance, if French is not your first language. Thus, the only advantage over the Fort National...More
