This huge sandy beach is bordered by stylish hotels and pretty houses. The morning we visited was very windy but we still enjoyed a long walk along the sand and by the rock pools and watching the surfers.

A glorious sandy beach ideal for an autumn walk- you can go from St Malo eastwards towards Parame. There was also the added entertainment of watching the Kite Surfers.

We were so fortunate to have this lovely beach to ourselves on a beautiful autumn day. It provided us with a pleasant walk to the walled city in the morning and in the evening a stroll along the Chaussee du Sillon before dinner.

The day we were there the waves were wild and the winds ferocious. A beautiful sandy beach that goes on for quite a bit. Wonderful spot for a day at the beach!

From the walls of the city, you get to see the full expanse of the sandy beach. Very clean and inviting, however the water was a little cool for our liking.
