Apart from weekends when the French like to organise activities and despite the jellyfish, this is a great beach, especially at sunset. Not many bars though, so take your own water.

Absolutely stunning beach. If you stand at the Intros Muros walls and look out it is very reminiscent of the Malecon in Cuba. It is sandy, safe and just beautiful

The beach is stunning and can take a lovely stroll and find a lot of nice shells. The water is very clean. Lovely and not crowded at all for a Friday afternoon (low tide).

An area there different things happens. It can be peaceful and chaos, all depending on the tide. Stroll here at low tide, avoid it at high tide.

Ok, so the water may not be as warm and clear as the Caribbean nor the weather as consistently warm and sunny, but the beach at St. Malo has just about everything you could want for fine beach day. The sandy spit is broad, flat...More

The beach at Saint-Malo is amazing. Forever changing with the tides, the seasons, the light and the time of day. It's mesmerising.
