While the aquarium was enjoyable I must complain about the sea turtles. Two sea turtles we very poorly habitised and clearly depressed as they were pushing their heads up against a wall, barely moving with their backs to the glass. They were not in tanks where they could easily surface, had no natural indicators of their habitat. One was in... More

If you are looking for an entertaining way to spend an hour or two in Saint-Malo, this is very good value, although certainly not cheap. There is a staggering variety of sea creatures of every variety in very easy to view conditions. The tour ends with a 'submarine' experience which gives the impression of travelling around a reef, wrecks etc.

Quite expensive to get in at 16.50 Euros and no concessions unlike the UK. Just about worth the money and quite a lot to see including a simulated descent by submarine to the bottom of the sea - what it really is is a lift like space which groans and rocks with a film of the ocean showing at the... The aquarium shows a wide variety of sea creatures and is well maintained. It's absolutely fair priced for the experience you get. We spend a long time enjoying many different species of the local and tropical sea. The unique experience compared to other aquariums is certainly also due to outdoor area where you can touch carps, rays, crabs and small... More

I can definitely recommend this attraction. It has loads of variety in the types of fish, jelly fish, sea horses, sharks and other types of sea creature. Many of which were new to me. Having been to several other aquariums, I think this one was a totally new experience. As my second submarine experience, I can also say that this... More

We like fish, so this was a 'must' visit for us! We chose a cold winters day, so there were no crowds to worry about. Plenty to keep children busy and good for the rest of us too. We took over an hour to go round (and could have spent longer) and then in addition we went to the Nautibus... More

What a lovely day we had here! an extremely interesting and well thought out attraction with lots of interactive displays and plenty of fun photo opportunities. We visited as a 3 generation family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Definitely a great way to spend a few hours ... all the exhibits were clearly labeled in French and English. Views were clear.

Brilliant Aquarium, definitely the best we've seen, two great 'ride' the nautilus being our highlight.... word of warning.... on a rainy day come early (and queue) otherwise can get really busy.
