One of our first visits in Auxerre as it was only a hundred meters or so from where we were staying. Another museum in Auxerre that is only open in the afternoon but is free entry. The first room on the ground floor is exquisitely furnished with antiques. The next three floors are filled with cabinets of local ceramics which interest us but maybe not everyone. On the top floor the roofing is visible and is an amazing array of timber beams. There isn't a lift for the handicapped or people with mobility problems.
