Both in Gothic style, with the Abbey are the most beautiful buildings in Auxerre. It is being cleaned and repaired. Many areas show the pass of centuries.

Imposing building in central Auxerre close to the Abbey. Intricate tracery carving on the windows, delicate carvings around the doorway, it really is a stunning looking building.

This is by far most impressive cathedral I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Just imagine how this building looked centuries ago. Yes, this is a culture.

Nice enough cathedral. More impressive from the outside than from the inside. Close to Auxerre central and a short walk to the abbey, clock tower and hotel de ville

We passed by Auxerre for a night and saw this cathedral. The artwork outside is incredible. On a plate outside it says Jana D'Ark had been there. More than 800years old

A grand Gothic style Cathedral located on a high spot in Auxerre. One enters the church and is immediately welcomed by soaring arches and magnificent windows. a must see.

While visiting Auxerre, this is one of the places you should visit. Didn't expect to find such a beautiful cathedral in the relatively small town of Auxerre.
