Visiting a mustard factory has no right to be as interesting as it is. Whilst we didnt do the tour, merely the tasting, the vast array of mustards to taste and the willing and friendly support of the staff made this a really enjoyable hour spent in Beaune. Its surprising that this is actually the only genuine Dijon mustard factory... More

We came early in the day so the only thing open was the tasting room as the tours would not commence until later in the day. The variety of the mustards available for tasting and purchase are extensive and my favorite was the Tarragon Mustard, but all of them are excellent. The staff was helpful and we ended up with... My wife and I decided to take a break from wine tasting and this mustard tasting experience was great. the mustard is so good, and it comes in so many flavors! Every time I would try one I would say it was my favorite and then the next one was a new favorite. The staff is very friendly.

Took the tour here and it was fascinating. Learned all about mustard, particularly in Burgundy. We even had a chance to make mustard with a mortar and pestle. Definitely worth a visit. Tours have limited numbers and are popular so you need to book ahead.

Contrary to what you may think and believe, the great "mustard city" Dijon - the synonym for "french mustard" - is hardly producing on site any mustard these days. Fallot in Beaune has still the production on board and is more of a genuine brand than most of the famous manufacturers in Dijon. Flavoured mustard is mostly constructions that feels... More

We enjoyed our tour and mustard tasting at La Moutarderie Fallot. The tour guide was interesting and informative. Who knew how many ways you could flavor and use mustard, Many that we really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this spot.

I have been a Fallot fan since buying their mustards on a previous trip. So when we went to Beaune this year, I was excited to see the opportunity to make mustard as part of the tour. Firstly, when I stopped in to make a reservation, they told me there were "too many French people who will be there" and... More

Must see in Beaune, this is so well organized and showcased for something as simple as mustard. The tasting room includes delightful pumps that serve a tasting of many varieties of mustard (including truffle, poivre vert, provencales etc) with bread sticks - all completely free. Of course there is a delightful shop where many jar sizes and flavors are available... More

Tour was a tad too long (how much can be said about mustard), not 2 hours long in my book - most of the tour was offered in French, not so good for us with poor French. Mustard making class was interesting however and while I don't highly recommend it is not a total miss either.
