Masterpiece of 13th century gothic architecture. Contains some symbols of Dijon: the owl, the black Madonna and the clock with the four metal automatons, looted from Courtrai in Belgium after a campaign in the 14th century.

It is a Beauty and must see in Dijon. Architectural marvel which on a relaxed Sunday afternoon may inspire you to search for inner peace and forget happening around you.

Yes it's beautiful, yes the architecture is great but it's just another ostentatious church in a very non religious country. Lovely stained glass windows, we visited to get out of the cold.

Frankly speaking the Dijon's Notre Dame is a disappointment if compared to others. Nothing special in terms of architecture or history, the place is just one of the countless town churches/cathedrals in Europe.
