As said, not a museum, but a movie, which is kind of confusing unless you already have some background knowledge. But helpful for those with no history knowledge of Jeanne d'Arc. What saves the experience is the included ticket to the nearby museum, which is worthwhile.

Read the other reviews before going & decided that it couldn't possibly be as bad as the worst reviews....wrong.....it is just an animated film show....

I enjoyed a lot being here, a few minutes of history, a few things from history, I learned something being here. I don't know why people are disappointed. It is a small place, you enter in a small house which in fact is in renovation, then you have to walk a bit to the exposition, which is also confusing but... More

This was the biggest disappointment of our visit to Orleans. We paid the entry but the visit consisted only of a 15 minute presentation. I would not recommend paying to enter but merely view and photograph from the outside.

The house looks stunnig from the outside, but offers very little on the inside. The visit consisted pretty much of a 15 minute film about the life and times of Joan of Arc. The second floor was closed during our visit so I can't comment on that. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were looking forward to seeing a replica of Joan of Arc's house, but instead we were ushered into a small viewing room, given headphones for English listening and we viewed a short animated film of Joan of Arc. The ticket was also valid for a small 2 room historic museum supposedly about Joan of Arc which, apart from a... More

If you're already a history buff really not worth coming here. For me it gave a basic background of the Joan of Arc story which was interesting. We went on a Sunday and for 4€ we were able to watch the media presentation but the library part was closed. We did however have complimentary access to the archeological museum about... More

We had a pleasant trip to Orleans, nice lunch, visit to the extensive range of shops and a great vist to Maison de Jeanne d'arc, loved reading about and seeing all the model structures of this fine lady. Maid of Orleans.

There are 2 touch screen which give you a write up in French and English about Joan of Arc, there is a short animated film of the life of Joan, which is very interesting and well put together. Your ticket is also valid to visit the historic archelogic museum, if you are interested in that sort of thing.

Unfortunately you don't come away knowing much more about Joan of Arc than when you entered, and that's a shame. It was here home, but the displays and decorations don't add very much. The intro movie isn't top notch & you don't learn much, if any. Shame it isn't better because this is an important location which needs preservation. It... More
