A visit to the Loire Valley is a must and can easily be done from Paris. We booked a tour online through the Tours tourist office ahead of our trip. We are not keen on big bus tours so we chose a mini bus which is run by Touraine Evasion. This is more of a shuttle service so there is... More

We booked the Valley of Kings Tour via the website and were not disappointed. We took the TGV from Paris to tour the Chateaus for day. The tour dovetailed nicely with the train schedule. Upon arrival in Tours we had enough time for petit dejeuner. Amboise, Chenonceau, lunch, Cheverny, and Chambord. Lunch was a complete surprise! It was excellent! Great... More

Good information given but dissapointed that there were no walking tours given in English. Every day at 10 am but in French only. Very disappointed about that. They hand you the map and tell you where to go so you see all non-French speakers wandering around with their maps! Also, do not take the Loire châteaux excursions (Touraine Evasion) which... More

A visit to the tourist office is a must when visiting Tours. We had all our questions answered in great detail by the very helpful staff who provided us with loads of information and pamphlets. We also bought tickets here for our visits to three chateaux and were able to save some euros.

The first thing I did when I arrived to Tours was to head to the tourist information. They were very helpful with good English and handed me pamphlets for Chateau tours. You could book through them so that was a plus.

The people in the tourist office were very helpful. We were looking for a day tour for the next day and they fit us perfectly with a wonderful tour of Chateaus and a wine tasting. Also helped with navigating the city. Very informative maps and brochures of region.

Staffed well enough so no waiting to speak to an agent. They speak English. There are so many pamphlets on attractions, you will be overwhelmed.
