Smaller than some of the other chateaux but interesting. It does have extensive gardens many of which are formal. Lovely restaurant just on the edge of the chateau. This chateau is definitely worth a visit.

The chateau was interesting and had many neat hidden gems.. but the outdoor gardens were beautiful and complex. Enjoyed taking pictures and wandering around the massive gardens and seeing all that awaited.

Not that I know of. He stayed at Chateau Clos Luce, also in the same part of the Loire valley.
