while it's great to see the cellar & house the tour lacked content. our guide had learnt a script but had no knowledge or ability to answer any questions. The tour starts with a video but again lacks explanation. Comparing to other big house visits...More

We pre-booked a private tour at The Moët et Chandon Champagne House. It was a really special experience. Our guide Simon was very knowledgeable and interactive, answering our many questions with enthusiasm. After some family and company history we headed to the cellars which were...More

It's interesting seeing the underground cellars and hearing a little of the history behind the name, but to be honest, it's all a little underwhelming and there is obviously much better champagnes from the area but don't allow visitors.

We were lucky to have a private tour with Melody. She was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging throughout, answered all questions given and was great company during the hour visit. You learn a great deal about the history of the family as well as Champagne making...More

Visited with my girlfriend after being let down by our own hotel/champagne house - actually pretty glad we were. The tour itself is interesting and well conducted (in English, in our case) and while it's a shame you can't see any actual production taking place...More

The tour was informative, but incredibly cookie cutter and robotic, and seemed to lack in its explanation of the whole champagne production process. This tour is decent if you know nothing about champagne and/or have never toured a champagne house as it will provide you...More

We got tickets at the tour counter, the staff was very helpful. When we asked for Dinner recommendations, she was able to help us. The tour was a nice small group of three couples and one baby in a carriage. Access to the cellars is...More

We planned a tour of champagne regions and of course Moët was on our list. But as I was soon to find out, tasting champagne is different from other regions. The wineries need a special license to pour, most will give you a glass or...More

The visit to the Moet et Chandon Cellars was slightly unsatisfying. Epernay is a lovely town and the focal attraction is the Champagne Avenue, the location of many champagne producers and houses. During the cellar tour one will get the information regarding Mr Moet and...More

I see on their website you can book a tour in advance and there are about 4 time spots. Are any particular time spots conducted in English? How can i ensure the tour we book has a guide that speaks English? Thank you,

I recalled the tours specify English or French but if they don't then just request it when you email them. It's a wonderful tour, bring a sweater it's cold in the cellars. Enjoy!
