Not as fancy as most of the other houses nearby - and also hidden away behind the famous Avenue de Champagne-, you get a much better sense of agriculture and family business at this location. The tour was very relaxed and, although didn't last the full hour as promised, provided a good glimpse into history of the caves and champagne... More

The Maison de Champagne Georges Cartier was recommended to us by the Tourist Office. They are located right in the city centre. We were a group of 4 and alone on this tour. Our tour guide was Camille. She really made our visit a full success. She was very knowledgeable und able to answer all our questions. No wonder, she... More

Camille ( I hope I am spelling that right!) went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. She was aware of and helpful with the children as well. Ended up here by chance because the train at Mercier had a fault and this was an alternative recommendation to find out more about Champagne and the famous tunnels... More

We went here after our Moët tour and nice and personal and interesting with the cave have some nice pieces of history on the walls. Only had another couple with us so a bit more personal and the guide was helpful and friendly. The tasting was good and not to expensive

We went to this place base on the recommentation from tourist office. We wanted to visit some smaller champagne house in Epernay and this was just in the centre. We took a visit to cellars with two tastes. We got a private tour, which was nice. Our guide was a girl who still is a student. She told us interesting... More

My adult daughter and I visited on a Friday morning at 10 a.m. We were the only people on the tour at that time and were given a very informative visit by Camille, who also spoke knowledgeably about the different champagnes produced by this house. (Both Georges Cartier and Malard). After the tasting we were able to buy a box... More

My wife and I visited the Georges Cartier house and the english speaking staff did an excellent job of showing us the cellar. You often need a reservation to visit the big houses, not here and we have a private tour to boot!

My 19 year old daughter and I visited this champagne house on a rainy morning in Epernay. For a very reasonable price we got a private guided tour of the champagne caves below - our guide spoke English fluently and was able to answer all our questions. We finished the tour with a tasting and our lovely and informative guide,... More

When my boyfriend and I visited Cartier, it was already too late for the tour, so we went directly for the tasting. Since we were total beginners in the champagne world, we went for the 5 tastings (€35) to try more than one type and be able to compare them. It was low season and we were alone during most... More

Visited this champagne house several years ago. Kids were entertained with the tour and tunnels within the cellars. They found it fascinating. Ticket included a glass of champagne, but then I HAD to try the rose as well as using my husbands ticket (he was driving you see). HAD to buy a bottle of each sampled champagne 😂 Going back... More
