Place worth visiting with time to spare highlighting architectural design from the 1920s. Lovely entrance to the building with a wonderful art deco entrance area. There is usually a display of some sorts based on the Champagne region. Very Eye-catching.

Stop by to admire the exquisite Art Deco chandelier and stained glass windows. It's free!! Take a photo or two! And you can even use the quiet reading room to do research, surf the web, or read. This is not one of those big attractions...More

The design won the gold medal at the Paris exposition of 1925, and the building was constructed with a gift from the Carnegie Foundation to replace a library destroyed in the First World War. Interior of the lobby, reading room and architectural details are exceptional...More

Spurred on by the reviews we went to the Carnegie as we have visited numerous other such libraries. Very disappointing. Unhelpful staff, not really anything to see, not the sort of place to spend any longer than 5 minutes.

The Library is small but very beautiful and if you wish to isolate in a quiet area to read, entrance is free even for tourists/visitors. No free Wifi unless you are a regular visitor though.

Built by Andrew Carnegie to replace Reim's library which was destroyed during WWI. It is so nice to see such a lovely building with beautiful grounds also be practical and well-used. This is definitely a must see! The lobby alone is worth the visit.

This library is such a beautiful surprise. The reception area is exquisite, as is the library room itself - and so peaceful. Almost makes you want to study again (almost!)

This is a wonderfully decorated library well worth a short visit. The building, the little garden in front and its location makes it a easy 15 min stop while visiting the beautiful Reims.
