This is a lovely Gothic church to wander around for a short visit. Light a candle, admire the stained glass, and check out the interesting gargoyles outside the church. I love the flying buttresses, and the beautiful stone work.

Go inside and experience the splendor of high Gothic. A place steeped in history too. Fun on a rainy day to see the water coming out of the mouths of the gargoyles

The already-posted reviews are on target. St. Urbain is well worth a visit, especially given it is right in the heart of the restaurant area of Troyes, When we were there last month, it was still undergoing structural renovation, but this does not detract much...More

Well worth a visit. A beautiful peaceful place. Lots of things to see and discover. I spent 15 mins in the pews just absorbing the place. It's beautiful. Go!

The history of this Basilica is really tied up with the town. Read the general information about Pope Ubain IV outside as he founded this church and oversaw the design which is beautiful. Lovely flying buttresses and lace stone work. A must see. Information in...More
