I learned many things about Hugo that I did not know previously. The way in which the exhibits were explained and laid out were very moving. I was brought to tears when viewing one part about the hardships for women at that time in history.

Victor Hugo was born here but lived little of his life here. Most of it was spent in Paris in a house. We didn't go in because the exhibits pictured in the windows did not show anything really interesting inside.
