The Jardin Sauvage St Vincent is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month at 10:30 precisely.
The other reviewers on this page are sadly intolerant. Obviously to keep a garden in a semi-wild state it can only be open at specific and infrequent times!!!
If you happen to be free at the allotted time the guided "tour" is well worth it as the guide, Jacky Libaud, is a fount of knowledge concerning the fauna and flora of the garden and of Paris, in general. I am full of admiration for people like him who know so much about the trees and plants we all take for granted.
A word of warning: the "tour" is really just an open-air talk on Nature in Paris. If you have trouble standing on the same spot for any length of time bring a folding seat! Recommended for those who have a real interest in Nature in an urban landscape. If this is not you, then don't bother.

Very small, could be walked entirely in less than 5 minutes. About 20 were in the group , about that many entered and walked the park without joining the group. The man spoke entirely in French and appeared to talk about every tree, plant , shrub and weed. I wish I understood. It’s only open that 1st Sunday of the month, give yourself 20-30 minutes to see it. It backs up against Renoir garden at the Musee du Montmartre. It wasn’t what I expected, but it was an enjoyable hour in a park that’s not manicured but allowed to grow wild.
