Walking through the park this afternoon (16:30), a gangle of men were blocking the path to go up into the park. As I tried to walk through with my daughter, one grabbed my wrist and wouldn’t let go-trying to do that bracelet scam. I repeatedly said no and tried to pull away but he wouldn’t let go. My daughter got scared and I got angry. Wtf!? I guess just be ready to do some Judo and definitely wouldn’t recommend it at night. Not sure what real deal is about that park but it was all bad vibes this evening.

The park itself is reasonably pretty, and the views from the top are good, but it's almost impossible to enjoy either because of the swarms of people trying to scam or otherwise hassel you. I couldn't take 2 steps in any direction without being shouted out by men trying to sell me something, having distractors shove a clipboard in my face, or being followed by people pretending to be selling tickets for the funicular or basilica. The number of people there selling dodgy crap or impersonating ticket inspectors was ridiculous, and discourages people from actually enjoying the park.

Very packed with people but a beautiful view nonetheless. If you follow a path to the right you'll manage to see the eiffle tower too. Worth a short stay and check out the Sacré-Cœur (big church behind) which is free entry. Watch out for people selling locks though.

The Square Louise Michel is exactly what you would think Paris is all about. The square has beautiful gardens, a carousel with French music, annoying vendors selling everything, touristy restaurants, tiny squares with restaurants and the whole Paris experience.

The flowers were in full bloom and it was so nice to just stop on the stairs and admire them on the way up. Paris was a bit behind New York in seasons so all the flowers were in bloom at the same time.

It should not be missed on the way to the Basilique du Sacre-Coeur.

The Square Louise Michel is a steep green area that reaches the monumental church of Sacré-Cœur perched atop the Hill of Montmartre. The square consists of a green area extending upwards to the top of the hill in a series of terraces with lawns, flowerbeds, shrubs, and trees.

The 222 steps that lead up to the top can be avoided by walking on one of the gently sloping paths that run alongside the garden. The square offers fantastic views of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and the roofs of Paris.

Towards the top of the park under rue du Cardinal Dubois is a monumental fountain dedicated to the Ocean gods. At the bottom of the square, not far from the funicular station, is a popular merry-go-round.

Nice walk and photo taking views.

Beautiful square/park beneath the famous Basilica Sacre Cour at Montmartre. Quite steep so be prepapred for quite a few steps.

Beautiful park area. Unfortunately when visited on an early Sunday evening at 18 pm a group of men suddenly grapped my hand and started to make a braclet with colourful strings. When saying no, they said it wouldn't cost a thing, even when I tried to insist for many times, that I'm not interested. They blocked my way to my fiancée, to whom they told I wasn't willing to pay. They were sweet talking to me, asking my name, saying they are friendly people. They skammed my fiancée 10 €. Be wary of this.

This big green space is named for a famous person from the Commune period. Interesting that has happened. It's in front of the big church that I am not that fond of. Some great views of the city

This square is at the bottom of the hill below the church. It’s crowded but you can get good pictures from here. A nice spot.
