We had an amazing tour with Karen in the Marais area of Paris. She is so knowledgeable and tells interesting stories as well. And she is well known in the neighborhood there. We enjoyed the tour immensely and highly recommend.
Visit the award winning food stores in Montmartre. Karen buys some for the degustation in Cook with class school + tells the histories of these food types. We really had enjoyable time with her and the group (it was only 3 of us!)

Karen was amazing! The tour was at a perfect pace, the stories and history lessons were engaging. Karen is like an old high school friend you get to meet up with in Paris! And of course the lunch which is kosher was amazing!

This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This
neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
