Another great nice park in the heart of the city. Just next to the Eiffel Tower a great spot for a walk, run, lay down on the grass and watch the people or the Eiffel Tower. One of the great things about Paris is its...More

It doesn't matter whether you visit the park before or after visiting the Eiffel tower. The park is clearly seen from the tower and is perfect for an afternoon stroll. Photo-ops loom everywhere.

When on an Eiffel tower tour our guide was explaining the history behind Champ de Mars. We were looking forward to visiting after our tour, both for picnic and photo opportunities. But unfortunately the park wasn't as well kept as I would have thought it...More

Advertised as a best place for picnic in Paris - well, not really, too dirty and full of merchandisers for that. I would recommend Luxembourg Gardens instead. On the other head, Eiffel Tower photo-shoot from here would be a rational idea - almost as good...More

From the Park you get a great view of the Eiffel tower with no buildings or even trees between you and the tower. A big long park, mostly green, great pictures spot for the Eiffel Tower.

With the Eiffel tower at the background was the best photo souvenir a tourist can bring. The huge park will give one time to stroll , go picnic, have some rest, or just watching people pass by. While one is in this part of the...More

Gorgeous park that offers some of the most insta-worthy photos ever. We did not realize that visiting the Eiffel Tower would include the walk that it did but the park makes it. It's touristy but it's a must-see/must-do. Wonderful memories were made at the Parc...More

This was a first time back at Champ de Mars in close to 25 years. The amount of human garbage is unbelievable - mostly cigarette butts, but also bottles, wrappers etc. The part of the park close to the Eiffel Tower was busier and dirtier....More

The parks of Paris just feel big and grand and stately. They are so large and green and there are lots of spaces to people watch and enjoy coffee, a book or just relax. This one is no different.

With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area

Not recommended to stroll because it was pretty dark during Jan winter night and you could barely see any beautiful sight. I vaguely remembered it was about 9pm after almost closing time of Eiffel Tower. There was very... More
