The performance started off slightly funny; however, took a turn for disgusting. We don't particularly find raunchy to be funny so we wished we would have done something else that evening.

My friend booked this as an Air BnB experience so we met with Oliver before and after the show. He has put together a very wry look, not just at Parisians but any nationality that may be in the audience. And the theater is quite lovely too - ooh, la, la!

Merci for your nice comment! You right, there is a part about sexuality that's why we do not recommend it for kids under 16. Hope to see you soon! French Arrogance Producer. More

Olivier's comments on Parisian might be a bit exaggerated but actually some characteristics appear on many metropolises in the world. Making people from all around the world laugh is not easy. P.S. Paris apartment is not small enough. Come and try in Hong Kong

We booked this show spontaneously just before the start and laughed a lot. The price is reasonable and the theatre was nice. I personally found the jokes a bit generic (typical national stereotype jokes) which also became a bit repetitive in the end to make the show last a bit longer. Still funny and all and a good laugh which... More

About the venue: Lots of posts remarked that the theater seats are cramped. I disagree. I am 6 feet 2, or 1 meter 90 cm, and I was perfectly comfortable. It is not the kind of stadium seating you'd find in new movie theaters, but it's typical of theaters of the period, and I did not feel cramped at all.... More

Great show. Very funny and so true about Parisians. Dress sense, mannerisms etc. Good interaction with the audience too.

It's very entertaining but one cannot fight the impression that Olivier Giraud had played in this a million times (which is probably close to true... ). It's still very funny and hence we can recommend it. One big caveat : the chairs are ridiculously small and spaced way to close to each other. If you are over 180cm just forget... More

Hi Kay, Thank you very much for your comment! The comedian played his show close to 1 500 times and still enjoying very much every night! The comedian is so happy to welcome more than 30 nationalities surrounded by so many french. I feel sorry for your knees but french theater seats are not as wide as americans seats! Hope... More

Great intimate theatre! Worth it to pay for the best seats! Took my 14 year old daughter and she got the nuances that are hysterical to watch. The risqué parts were less risqué than the music my teen tries to play so I am glad we went. Go after a few days in Paris after you have seen the touristy... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
