What a magnificent building. Unfortunately the queue went for ever and we did not have the time to line up for that long so we missed seeing the inside. We did get to hear the bells on the hour and that was great!

I love history! Notre-Dame Cathedral does not disappoint. When you get there expect to wait in a long line for a free tour through the church. It does move fairly quickly. Inside you will see gorgeous vestibules, tombs and mausoleums, beautiful handcrafted images, and breathtaking...More

I would highly recommend making this a stop on any Paris itinerary. While visiting Paris we saw all the usual tourist stops; the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Versailles, Arc de Triumph, and Notre Dame. Notre-Dame was our favorite. It simply astounds you and takes your breath...More

We stood in a queue on the side of the Cathedral to get inside the Cathedral thinking that was the entry. After getting inside, we got to know that long queue was to climb to the top and not to enter the Cathedral. Only after...More

It is an incredible monument! The work and tireless effort gone into restoring and preserving this heritage structure shows how much the French value their heritage. The stained glass windows and the architecture is a sight to behold

A must at night and don't miss seeing inside. The photos you can get from all sides are amazing and the Seine runs rights down the bank with River barges.

You can spend hours in here admiring the statues, the artwork, the majestic ceilings, and all the lit candles in the prayer alcoves. It can be crowded as I went during an afternoon. There are multiple statues where you can sit, ponder and even light...More

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

Of course! The only time you will have to pay anything is when you want to go to the top of the towers (which I do highly recommend). Otherwise, everything is free!
