I stayed at a hotel on this street several times this year and I must say that I love this street. High fashion stores and the famous L' Avenue restaurant. This street leads to Champs-Élysées which is nice but on the other end of the street you can find wonderful café's where you can eat wonderful food with a view... More

If you're looking for a great place to do some "fancy shopping", this is it! Beautiful area with lovely buildings even if you're just window shopping.

You will find pretty much all the big brands on this street. Plenty parking in front of shops. Nice walking street as well just for window shopping. Lots of nice and convenient restaurants to relax during shopping break. Love it!

Great location to visit some of the top designers stores in the world. Be sure to know the prices of items at home because there really aren't any deals here. You can probably buy it for less at home.

I was in Paris for LVMH’s third annual Les Journees Particulieres to tour behind the scenes at Givenchy and Christian Dior (located on Avenue Montaigne). Of course, I couldn’t restrict myself to just Dior. The street is side-to-side luxury stores: Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Chane, Loewe and Loro Piana to name a few. A must visit!

Avenue Montaigne runs for a few blocks between Place de l'Alma and Avenue des Champs Elysees, featuring designer fashion boutiques and a three-star Michelin restaurant. My favorite building on the avenue, however, is Theatre des Champs-Elysees at No. 15. This 1913 Art Deco standout plays host to classical concerts, ballet, jazz and opera. I find its acoustics to be extraordinary... More

Great place to window shop (especially if you can sew). You can get a lot of ideas, so be sure to bring your camera. There are too many designer shops in the area (not just this street, so do your research to find your favorites). I spent an entire day in this area, just looking in the windows. If you... More

Take yourself on a high end fashion stroll thru Paris. Interesting even to just to window shop or to drop in on your favorite upscale brands like Givenchy, Dior, Prada, Valentino and Ralph Lauren etc… At one end you are at the Champs Elysees and at the other end is a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower and the Memorial... This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe.
