I stayed at a hotel in the area and I enjoyed walking around and looking at people and the buildings.

The green monument or vendome is full of sceneries with shops around it. It gave a grand feel for the past Neapolian times which took place in the square. Some renovation is in front of it. It is hard to go nearer since cars are...More
A large square with the Vendome column as centrepiece. Built by napolean to commemorate a battle. It was torn down and erected again. Weird that it allows traffic so you can't get too close to the column All around the square are luxury watch and...More

Attractive plaza with some very impressive couture, hotels etc. Nice to walk around some 'space' for a change in the centre of a city. Worth a walk around and if you carry on through it brings you out on Rue du Rivoli.
The Place is located in front of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Has a Napoleon Statue that was made from the cannons of his army. Its very clean, and clear view, you can shop around and admire the buildings that surround the monument. Very elegant.

If you are walking down from Opera you need to pass this place. It's so full of story and so clean that you'll remain impressed.
