Galeries Lafayette is a bloody big and very busy department store. A bit like Selfridges or Harrods in London. Pros: Great shopping. You can find almost anything there. Cons: It's very busy. And packed full of people. Still worth visiting though. And good fun.

This shopping mall is only a 5 minute walk from the Opera house so you should definitely check it out while you're in that district. I would highly recommend not going on a weekend because we went on a Saturday and the place was flooded...More

This is a great one-stop shopping area of Paris. Outside the Galeries Lafayette are numerous other shops such as H&M, Zara, Mango, etc. Inside are floors & floors of beautiful designer goods: clothing, shoes, home goods, etc. Go to the top floor and enjoy a...More

This place is basically an overpriced mall for tourists. The only reason this place gets two stars is because I got to use free wifi. It is extremely boring here. Don't waste your time in Paris on this place.

A place to shop, for sure. But 34500 square feet filled with shoes? It is HEAVEN! They also have the famous macaroon's 'booth' inside, as well as souvenirs shop. So if you want to bring home something from Paris, it is a good place. There's...More

This place is basically a giant mall with all the stores under one roof. I know a mall has one roof too, but there are no walls between these "stores," each brand is like its own department in the store. They have everything from the...More

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle

legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
