Best chocolates ever! Loved it more than Swiss chocolates. A little bit pricey, but very good. Location is convenient, just back from our hotel

My husband and I were wandering around near our hotel in search of the perfect gift for home and ran across this amazing chocolate shop. The selection is amazing with both milk and dark chocolate varieties to choose from. We asked Les, the nice young woman who helped us, to pick a custom box of milk chocolates for people at work. We were showered with smiles and free samples, it seemed obvious she enjoyed working there. We are so happy we waited to find the "perfect" gift for friends and family from Paris. I would definitely recommend getting the assorted custom gift box and asking for whatever sample you're curious about. Both Les ( and Sham ) are happy to help!

Made a special trip to this shop with professional chocolate makers and business associates. This store had their chocolate spread stacked on a high shelf three jars high. I reached for a top jar and the two jars below it slipped. Nothing broke, but I froze as the woman at the store started screaming at me and came running. She did not ask if I was okay. She merely shook her head and said ‘madame, all the jars are the same.’ I explained that I had selected a jar from the top and it was an accident and I apologized. She gave no response and spent the rest of the time watching staring at me as I walked through the store. As someone who manages people in food and retail, this was a terrible experience and left me embarrassed. I work with a lot of tourists and go out of our way to make them feel welcome. I also understand mistakes happen.

My favorite chocolate shop in the world. You can taste the tradition and expertise in every bite. They are simply divine. I adore the shop on Rue Cler and always make sure to visit and leave room in my souvenir bag (and budget) for gifts. Service here can be a bit aloof and typically Parisian. A bit more attention to the customer would really enhance the special "famille" feelings you get when you set foot into this pretty shop on Rue Cler. There is a more artisanal chocolate shop down the lane on Rue Cler with the warmest, friendliest staff, offering samples to my children, etc. but the history, beautiful packaging and assortment at A La Mere du Famille can't be beat. I only wish they shipped to the U.S., but it does make the gift that much more special.

very disapointing
for Christmas I spent more than 284 euros for divers gifts
this brend is disappointing they dont put the beautiful picture of the old shop rue du Fg Montmartre (it was our shop in our family for years.oh just on one
So the boxes are ordinairy
inside the boxes, the quality of the chocolat is medium, and they dont take the amability to tell you what is in each crotte of chocolat.
This brund should take advises from the PUYRICARD and JP THEVIN

Delicious! One of the best chocolate finds in Paris on Rue Cler Street. I tried many chocolate shops in Paris and I thought it was one of the best.! Loved it.

Love, love, love! The shop on Rue Cler was just around the corner from my hotel. I enjoyed browsing and sampling some of the chocolates, plus I learned how to correctly pronounce some of the chocolate creations thanks to a sweet employee named Calvin. He was so helpful to answer all my questions. If you go to the shop, ask for him! The prices are reasonable so I splurged and bought many different gift boxes to bring home to my family and friends in Texas. It will be impossible to ever find chocolate of this quality in Texas. I guess I’ll need to plan another trip to Paris!
