This famous Left Bank neighborhood, so named because the numerous university students in the area spoke only Latin to their professors until the French Revolution, preserves an authentic Parisian atmosphere of old.

We stayed in the Latin Quarter at Hotel Henriette and loved how central it was ans so easy to get around. We walked to Notre Dame along the Sienne, with Les Gobelins Metro very close by.

The latin quartet is a place full of life at night with different restaurants, clubs and shops of souvenirs. It is really a good place visit during your stay in Paris.

We stayed here during our first time in Paris. Lovely in location but so so so touristy! Everything is way overpriced, no locals to be found in most restaurants we stopped in. Definitely worth a visit but would not stay here next time.

Easily one of the best neighborhoods in Paris to visit. Such an old part of the city with many buildings that teach us some history

Many restaurants and cafes to choose from in the area. The Sorbonne and The Pantheon are located in The Latin Quarter. We enjoyed walking the many streets in this section after touring the area and having dinner in one of the cafes

I sampled many of the restaurants in the area and found them all to be very good. I was a woman alone and felt very safe.

The Latin Quarter is the place to be. After a great visit at the Notre Dame Towers tour, we decided to check out this hopping neighborhood just right next door to the famed cathedral. Our first stop was St. Jacques for “happy hours” (just love...More

I like this Quarter a lot. If you look for a cheaper food, to try some sweets and buy some souvenirs cheaper - this is the place. It is also a good location to look for accommodation in this quarter, when staying in Paris.

The Latin quarter in Paris on the left bank is teaming with a million little cafe's some with remarkable history like The impressionists drinking Absinthe there and you keep waiting for someone remarkable to arrive. Of course they never do but it would not be...More

It is very hard to find an upscale hotel for the price you are seeking, accommodation for your price range is more quaint and if look under apartment for rent, you may get something reasonable in the Latin quarter.
