I took an evening walk from my hotel. It was nice to see the Paris version of the Statue of Liberty. Nice views of Eiffel Tower from here.

Only from watching national treasure did I know there was a mini Statue of Liberty in Paris but was worth swinging by. It’s free, easy to get to and has some nice views. Access is under a bridge that has an outdoor gym type area...More

Not as big as the real thing in New York but still an impressive sight and worth visiting especially on a river boat trip

Definitely worth seeing if you are in the area. Sadly when we visited, the river was very high so the island it stands on was flooded. We couldn’t get into the island and so could only see it from a distance on the river bank.

We viewed the statue from the west side of the river. I suggest if you don't walk down to the island that you view it from the east side - since she had her back to us. You could get a nice view of the...More

This was one of my first stops of the day - the Statue of Liberty in Paris. It’s a smaller version of the one in the US and is easily accessible from Pont de Grenelle down a few stairs on the Ile des Cygnes. Early...More

Yes it's free... cross the road and go down the steps. It's a miniature version of the USA statue (a gift to Paris) and a bit about the history of it.
