Fun cafe

Wonderful, historic Cafe de flore was fun to visit during our trip. We enjoyed the French onion soup and glasses of wine to go with it. Fun place to spend a long lunch.

a bit expensive, totally worth it though. sit and watch people walk by i recommend specially to all my visiting friends to Paris. The onion soup is good, or may i say extremely good. You may also see some artists and socially renown persons. If you want something cheap, don't come here, go around the corner.

The reputation of this cafe precedes itself and I had high expectations however as it was so busy we sat inside, which was not the nicest ambiences, unwelcoming waiters bustling about. We felt like we were in a rush. 50 euros for 5 coffees/ teas? Won't be rushing back...

This place is a must stop while in Paris, simply because... Everyone says so. But it's so well located and looks so nice it's hard to miss a coffee break here.

Good service, crowded space. The salad, dessert and the tea was okay, but definitely overpriced. Well, my husband said everything was terrible.

Apparently this place is 'famous' for attracting local artists, celebs and the Karl Lagerfeld's of the world but it's beyond disappointing. The service was sub-par, actually quite awful to the point where the waiter didn't even bring me utensils. Had the soggiest vegetarian omelette, could have had a better bacon & egg McMuffin at McDonald's. So overpriced as well.

This place is really hyped up for nothing. The price we paid for two omelettes and some tea was around 50 euros!!! The omelette was also tasteless. The waiter was nice but that's about it. If you want eggs go to eggs and co which is a few mins walk from here...much better.

Following the steps of some great writers we decided to pay a visit to this Cafe, but we did not wanted to get stuck on the rush hour, so we went for a late coffe. The staff was pleasant and we had some chat.

Busy but really nice café. We went here a Thursday late afternoon for coffee and a glass of win. Interesting, so much Paris. Authentic. Well worth a visit.

We stopped by this place almost everyday (some times twice a day). They dessert Mille-feuille was what we loved. The location was in heart of St. Germain area, close to Eiffel Tower. Very cool setting and we enjoyed throughly

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères.
