If you are in Paris for more than a couple of weeks, then drop by this park for a visit. You can combine it with a trip to the Musée Nissim de Camondo and/or Musée Jacquemart-André to fill up an afternoon. There are better parks in Paris but this is worth seeing if you happen to be in the area.

A nice walk to Musee Jacquemart-Anre from our apartment through this park with it's gardens. Clearly a family gathering park with many children enjoying the day.

Being a history buff, I really wanted to see Parc Monceau because it was here that the Statue of Liberty was first assembled and put on display for Parisians to see before it was shipped to New York. I'm also a runner and , since the Parc was close to my B&B, I was in Heaven when I entered. There... More

An oasis in central Paris. Each morning the joggers come from all directions and swarm in the gates. All run anti-clockwise in formation but at their own speed. This is a lovely park to stroll, to jog, to read or just contemplate. Well worth a visit especially if you in the area.

This is a lovely place to just get away from the busy streets and immerse yourself in the tranquil side of Paris. The locals go here so it's also a nice spot to just people watch and observe the local culture.

I wanted to spend a day visiting some parcs in Paris I had yet to visit, and this one surprised me the most. I did not expect to find so many charming areas, from the bridge that looked like it came from Venice to the columns that looked like the ruins in Rome which was so impressive. Since it was... More

Parc Monceau is a lovely, small park with statuary, ruins, foot bridges, and flowers scattered among thick grass fields and jogging paths. It's also loaded with people, presumably locals who live or work nearby, jogging, walking dogs, strolling children, and relaxing about. That's it. Not particularly interesting for tourists, but a perfectly nice place if you want to escape for... More

In summer this is a great place to go for a summer picnic lunch under the trees. Well used by locals (watch out for joggers and high speed cyclists). Some nice works of art including an important statue to Chopin tucked away in a corner. A low energy and free attraction.

I found this park by accident, and was pleasantly surprised, the park was lovely, there were many locals both young and old, playing with children or just sitting in the sun. I enjoyed doing the same, and watching the activity . There was also a good market in the street outside. A nice place to relax.

I strolled around the whole park in less than 30min. Unless you're looking for a nice park to sit or play, I think Paris has nicer parks to offer as attractions. Very close to a subway, though.
