The tour was handled wonderfully by our guide, Bruce of Sandeman Tours. His deep knowledge of the history of the city and of this area particularly provided a great context for the star of the show - the beautiful Sacre Couer.

We did the paid walking tour of Montmarte with our Dutch guide Onno. To start with - Montmarte is an absolute must-see neighbourhood of Paris. This area represented everything that I had seen about Paris on TV all my life - cosy cafes, cobbled streets...More

Oh no was very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris. We would not have the significance of this area without doing this tour.

There are a thousand ways to see Montmartre but we had the pleasure to join Onno from sandeman's walking tour and had a fantastic time, I highly recommend it and feel poorly for those who opt for another method. We didn't want to leave, after...More

Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the
steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the
Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy
