This footbridge was constructed for the 1900 world's fair to connect the Army and Navy buildings. This bridge provides a great vantage point to view the Eiffel Tower.

Over the Seine river, it provides a great view for the Tower and the city in general. Although I haven't been through it, I could see how beautiful it is. And could also take some cool pictures.

Passerelle Debilly makes easy access for a pedestrian to cross the Seine from the Eiffel Tower to the Museum of Modern Art and beyond. The footbridge was built in 1899 for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, it was named after one of Napoleon's general, Billy.

If taking a river cruise, you'll recognize it as the first bridge that you pass under after departing from Port de la Bourdonnais. It's an arched pedestrian bridge that was built as a temporary structure, but ended up being a permanent fixture because it was...More
