What a great little spot for a fun, non-pretentious apéro with friends. Apéro ended lasting hours as we enjoyed being crammed into the little corner table tremendously. Wine was very affordable, tastings offered, little planches of charcuterie and fromage could be ordered at the bar. The squat toilet outside just added to the fun of the evening.

After walking around a local outdoor market that was steps away we stepped into baron rouge. A great local wine bar in the old fashioned way. No suits here. They have great barrels near the entrance where you can fill up your own bottle (they do the filling) from about 5-6 selections. We went rouge and had brought our own... More

Our 6th trip to France and 2nd to Paris!! Great atmosphere and a varied selection of wines at very reasonable prices. Couple of gentlemen behind the bar are very friendly and know the wines they are serving. We also had some cheeses and hams ( which were great). Closest metro is ledru rollin. Its a 5 min walk. Mostly locals... More

This off the beaten track bar is a real jewel. Great variety of wines and fresh oysters sold just outside. Ambiance is guaranteed, with barels and old , vintage photos. Great way to start your night, before dinner...

This is a fantastic place. We went twice and on both occasions it was first class. You can purchase wine by he glass and the choice on offer is immense and great value for money. We had the charcuterie on the first day and it was also well priced (and large!). The second occasion (sunday) we had the oysters and... More

Absolutely loved this place! Can buy glasses of good quality French wine in 100ml sizes so you can really sample them all to find a favourite without a mistake costing too much. The regulars were more than happy to pick one out for us though, the French arrogant? I've yet to experience this. Highly recommend this place!

Superb and very affordable wine bar with Corsican snacks and probably the cheapest oysters in Paris at the weekends. You can also buy wine on vrac (out of the barrel) The ambience is of a locals bar and it is right next door to the Marche Aligre. Thoroughly recommend a visit'
