The Carrousel du Louvre, located right in the heart of Paris, in the first...

The Carrousel du Louvre, located right in the heart of Paris, in the first arrondissement of the City of Lights, is, without doubt, a premier shopping destination. It is open all year long, 7 days a week (including Sundays) from 10am to 8 pm, and is home to a variety of restaurants and more than 40 premium stores including Apple Store (the first Apple Store in Paris) and Printemps du Louvre (showcasing leading luxury brands with top-of-the-range watchmaking on the mezzanine floor). The Carrousel du Louvre is a uniquely designed iconic venue, with its famous Inverted Pyramid, a fantastic architectural feat by Pei (where fans can explore the mysteries of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code or take the perfect selfie to keep as a special Paris memento), its Charles V Hall walls, its Comédie Française studio theatre and its conference and exhibition centre. Culture runs deep in its DNA making it a cultural site to be visited on its own account! The Carrousel du Louvre can be accessed from the Louvre Museum (at the end of your visit when you leave through Allée du Grand Louvre), 99 Rue de Rivoli, the Tuileries Garden (North and South stairways) and also by direct access to the Palais Royal Musée du Louvre metro station (lines 1 and 7).

Thought this would be all very expensive stores, and it's actually really varied and worth a look. There's an Apple Store - from the small pyramid above the shop you get a great photo of the pyramid with the Apple logo too. There is a Printemps for expensive clothes and handbags. But there are also outdoor stores, a MacDonalds and... More

Visited here on the way back from sight seeing as my daughter wanted to do some shopping, both found it very underwhelming with only expensive shops, I guess we didn't know what to expect, but no mid price shops, great if you have lots of money to spend I imagine!

If not over crowded, this can be a fun mall which you can exit into from the Louvre. Fashion, food, classy souvenirs, a Printemps department store across from the Apple Store.

When you enter this place, you think, that you are already in Louvre, but this is a mall, look-alike this museum. Great French shops are waiting for you here. Of course, there is an entrance to Louvre

Visited in June 2012 & September 2013. Metro station is located inside this area mixed in with many shops and restaurants. Art stores, souvenir shops, clothing stores, perfume stores, etc. Starbucks along with some nice quick food options. Visited after a morning at the Louvre and had lunch here. Also, had a Starbucks muffin and frapuccino too once. When it... More

As you exit the Louve you will enter this rather nice underground shopping mall. There are a number of fashion shops as well as food outlets. One nice touch is the continuation of the old castle walls into the shopping mall.

My wife and I visited this underground shopping arcade while we were recently in Paris. It has a collection of find shops and boutiques, that offer the visitor eight great selection of goods. Be prepared however to fork out €1.5 to go to the washroom. Overall a great experience though.

If you go to museum of Louvre get in via Carroussel instance which either on rue de Rivolie or Jardin de Tuileries .... It is beautiful place with funny shops, restaurant and my favorite Apple Store ))) You have beautiful reverse Pyramid and entrance that will keep you safe from rain or heavy sun ...

Thank Maclepau
