This Asian store is huge and offer a variety of Asian products, basically anything you want. From fresh meats and vegetables to snacks, you sure will find what you look for. There are a lot of people yet the queue at cashiers is very fluid. Have fun shopping!

I've read dozens of articles with such a title about this funny place ! I wasn't sure if there's not a fiction, so I decided to visit by myself. Some video on YouTubes concerning medicinal herbs from China definitely convinced me. The good point here (compared with a pharmacy with such a stand) is that either employees or customers are... Tang Freres is like many good, solid Asian markets world wide, with that edgy familiar ambiance. On the chaotic side of junky. Like most all Chinese stores I've loved worldwide. It has a familiarity and consistency I personally welcome. A great find for those special Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese ingredients: bottled, pickled, jugged, jarred, canned, packaged, fresh, frozen, and dried. It... More

Not only the place for finding everything from Asia, but a real experience if you haven't visited Asia. It begins with the Lacked Ducks in Tang Gourmet, goes on with all the asian fresh fruit and has no limits.

I've lived in Paris for more than two years and Tang Frères is where I always go when I'm cooking anything Thai or Chinese. This is a great place if you're looking for those hard to find ingredients for Asian recipes. It's also fun to go just to wander around. You'll find great fresh produce and spices, like lemongrass, durian,... More

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighbourhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
