We stepped in with a wow. What a beautiful shop filled to the brim with wine from everywhere. The staff were very helpful. Don't think you can go in here if you are in a hurry though. The staff want to give you an experience and their attention. As a couple of Aussies with limited wine knowledge and only a... More

If you're lucky enough to be in Paris when there's a wine tasting going on here (they usually happen on a Saturday) it's an opportunity to experience some casual exploration of wine. We were able to taste a variety of reds, whites, and roses from the Loire region of France on the sidewalk in front of the shop. If you... More

In search of a specific vitner, this cave was suggested as the place to find what I was in search of (Gramenon, a woman vitner near Valreas, Cotes du Rhone, red and white and while bio...not my first or last choice... it is one of the most unique from this area of highly sought after reds). From the street, even... More

I visited Le Caves Auge on a recommendation that it is one of the best in Paris and after my visit I have to agree. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and happy to provide recommendations. The shop is old and has a ton of character, which adds to the visit - the wine is stacked to the ceiling. From... More

The last reviewer was obviously lost. Le Caves Auge was right there on Haussman as it was supposed to be. The young man who helped me was knowledgeable and very friendly though they would not let me take pictures. I bought two bottles to take home to my husband for Father's Day. Felt very much like I was in France,... More

I came in here on the recommendation of a few friends who told me this was the best wine shop in Paris. The selection is vast and especially strong in natural wines. I picked up several bottles that are never imported into the US to bring back with me. The pricing is excellent and so is the service. The store... More

The wine world is dynamic - it's constantly changing but Caves Auge 116 bd Haussmann, nearest metro Saint Augustin (9) is a wine shop that never changes - quality all the time. One pilgrimage I always make before leaving Paris is to this end of Haussmann far away from the hustle & bustle of Galeries Lafayette and all the chic stores...
