This club was listed in the hotel city guide. We showed up without purchasing a ticket ahead of time, so we waited until all the ticketed people in line went in. Then we were courteously seated. We ordered a couple drinks and the cheese and charcuterie plate. The mai tai was excellent, the plate filling and good variety, the service... More

Saw the Tom Harrell Quartet here on May 3, and it was one of the most enjoyable musical evenings I have ever experienced....and I've been going to live music since 1969!...This is a wonderful room, with great sight lines and acoustics (although we were fortunate enough to sit right in front)...Tom Harrell was incredible, and the audience was very appreciative...I... We aren't huge Jazz fans but are now converts. This club was part of a walking Jazz tour we booked and was everything we hoped it would be. Three course dinner was amazing and the cosy atmosphere set the scene for an amazing Jazz experience. Would highly recommend it

We went here to check Paris jazz club off the bucket list. We weren't disappointed. The night we went there were two shows: 7:30 and 9:30. If you order the larger meal with the show, you will have a choice of two appetizers, three entrees and two desserts. The large meal also comes with a glass of champagne and a... More

I just cant take my eye off the guitar guy, especially when he was playing solo! absolutely AMAZING! It was a bit crowded, but we were here for the music! As a hardcore jazz fan I really enjoyed every second. But I think the Jazz style really depends on the band, so maybe people who prefer a lighter or quite... More

This place is really a proper Parisian jazz club, but be aware that people who go there are usually big hardcore jazz fans (or plain wannabe's) but it's definitely not for the mainstream audience. I know because I went there with people who've never been to a jazz show before and it was just too much for them. This place... More

Absolutely great venue to kick back have a drink and little listen. Last night Don Menza on a borrowed horn mesmerized the audience with his mastery. The number 1 Jazz club in Paris go come for 1of the two nightly shows..

Wanted to check out a Jazz spot before we left Paris and this place did not disappoint. Our tour guide (Black Paris Tours) recommended this place and we had a blast. The band that night (4/8/17) was excellent and the accompanying singers were great too. Great drinks, great service and an all around great experience.. Our waitress was so helpful... More

You would reserve (pay) your ticket on the internet or directly at the venue and queue early enough to get a sitting place in the very small club -max thirty or so seats in an intimate atmosphere-, for a music and drink experience in this probably most reasonably priced (and most famous) jazz bar in Paris. No other activity (no... More

What a place, what an atmosphere?! Live jazz with Steve Williams and his friends and then after that jazz 'jamming' until I had to go at 3.00am!!! Great food too - what a great experience !

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
