Since the 1950's, generations of actors at Theatre La Huchette have been presenting the same double bill of Ionesco's THE BALD SOPRANO and THE LESSON on a regular schedule, without fail. The stylistic journey you will take when you visit this tiny jewel box on...More

Tiny theatre at walking distance from Notre-Dame-de-Paris preseting the Bald Soprano (la Cantatrice chauve) since 1957. You will laugh and be amazed by the actor's talent.

I spent a very pleasant evening at this theater watching two Ionesco plays. The theater is casual, small and cozy, and if you speak french, I highly reccomend going to see a play or two. The area of Saint Michel is also very interesting with...More

As the bustling center of entertainment for the
residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon
never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional
cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets
surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide
eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just
next door and the prototypical terraced French
brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
