Beautiful place, lots of nice restaurants, very local and good feeling, in spring the blossoms are beautiful. Very relaxed, not too many tourists, definitely worth exploring if you wanna get away from all the crowdy obvious places

I'd spent a late afternoon at a cafe along the place and it was a very pleasant and relaxing place. It's a perfect mix of being in and feeling very much as if you're in the city center of Paris, while also having a bit more relaxing location to spend a nice summer afternoon.

This whole area is up and coming. Lots of local restaurants and feels very much an area for locals, not tourists. Along canal and good transportation.

You will visit Place de Stalingrad if you do a cruise along the Canal Saint-Martin. It is the northern terminus of canal trips before you enter the Bassin de la Villette. This was once a main entry point into the city of Paris. The city walls ran along what is now marked by the sweeping curve of the metro viaduct.... More

This place is beautiful, great location to eat especially if your staying at the holiday inn a few minutes away. The food is delicious and they really put in the effort on presentation, plus the menu is translated which is handy! The service however....oh dear! If u get there before 8 it will take a while before anyone pays you... More

I love this space on the border of the 10th and 18th arrondissements of Paris. It used to be a bit rough, and can still get that way at night, but in the day it's a lovely place to relax overlooking the Canal Ourq. There is a new restaurant with dance events at night, free wifi during the day, and... More

A place named after Stalingrad in the seedy part of town should be enough of a warning for the distinguished tourist. As a local native, I feel compelled to warn you not to stop when travelling by metro or bus or taxi or whatever mean of transportation ( boat even....) in the area. Appearances may be deceptive. You have a... More
