A rather attractive park which contained vegetable gardens maintained by local schoolchildren and close to a lively area where the wine merchants used to sell their products, but now with lots of bars, bistros, craft shops etc.

The old wine warehouse district has been recycled as a very big park with all sorts of attractions, but lots of lovely green space along the river. Some nice remnants of the wine period remain.

This is where the wine market and storage used to be, so there are monuments to the old usage. Now a huge park along the Seine, beautiful landscaping, some pretty bridges.

n the eastern side of the Park, when you are approaching the "Passerelle Simone-de-Beauvoir", bridge, there on both the sides stand 21 sculptors, very contemporary and very unique. I tried to find information about them, but none was available easily. Rachid Khimoune sculpted these "Les...More
