This has to be my favorite market in Paris. Nothing beats shopping in the shadow of the Eiffel tower. The produce is the real star of the show -top quality fruits and vegetables, fish, meats, bread, cheeses. Be sure to buy some and then head...More

Wonderful twice weekly market, overwhelmingly fresh and prepared foods, great for weekly shopping. Not a farmer's market but some stalls specialize in things like only potatoes, or tomatoes, or apples/pears. All the traditional supply chains represented too: fish/seafood, cheese, wine, meats

I love this street market but it is very much quieter in August than it is during the winter months when I previously visited. However at any time a market with a view of the Eiffel Tower can't be bad.

On a Thursday and Saturday, this little market provides abundant, good quality and tasty food. It is not as big as some others in the same locality, but has a much nicer atmosphere and the sellers are not aggressive either.
