THATLou runs themed Treasure Hunts at the Louvre (what it stands for) & is part of THATMuse (other museums: Musee d’Orsay, British Museum & the Streets of Paris, THATRue). Our themed hunts give you an overview, whilst keeping you focused & injecting fun in your museum visit. Both educational & adrenalin-pumping, our goal is to make you want to see more of the museum after the hunt. No knowledge of art prior is necessary

We really wanted to visit the Louvre while in Paris, but with a 6 and 8 year old with us, I wasn't sure it would be enjoyable for anyone. We found THATLou, and decided this might be our best chance of having an enjoyable visit....More

My 9-year-old daughter in I participated in a treasure hunt against another family in a private hunt. The history and insights that are cleverly disguised as clues and extra points were an added bonus.

We experienced THATLou with our 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son. It was a blast. Instead of dividing into groups, we worked together and found almost all of the art! It gave us a sense of direction for the enormous museum, and...More

Who would have thought that, when asked, our four children (ages 5,7,9,11) would say exploring the Louvre was their favourite part of our Parisian adventure (besides daily crepes, of course!). Annie met us and an American family with friendly and clear instructions, making us feel...More

Have fun in a nonconventional way in a place that seems to demand a too-much serious perspective. You may have enjoyed viewing pieces of the Louvre, before, but this journey, in particular, helps on notice things in art that we might not otherwise recognize.
