It is a very friendly atmosphere, perfect for a change from the regular touristic places in Paris, with several options for brunch/lunch and coffee.

Lots of restaurants from fast food to sushi to quasi fine dining. Something for everyone. High end shopping, but a PSG store with a nice selection. Close to metro.

The place is quite nice, close to the Bercy park and the famous Passerelle Simone-de-Beauvoir. There are some little shops, selling the, haute patisserie, clothes, and books. If you want to eat during your shopping, you have a lot of choices!

This is a nice little shopping area with lots of restaurants. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there, though.

Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise
lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and
impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small
parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy
Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois
de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on
its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to
this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make

I don't recall seeing a Pharmacy in the immediate vicinity of the hotel... But Pharmacies are everywhere in Paris. But be warned, Pharmacies in France are expensive.
