Terrific afternoon experimenting with a huge palette of fragrances. Marina guided us through the process with expert knowledge, the ambience of her appartment is perfect. Excellent experience and a custom made perfume to take home.

My husband got me a gift certificate for the workshop 4 years ago when we were on vacation and had just started dating. Now we're married and on our honeymoon touring through Europe, and I'd enjoyed the workshop so much the first time that we decided to do the class together - and he loved it! Marina went above and... Great instruction. I learned so day I had to take three masterpiece products away. So much fun, and I still wear the cologne I made for me!

Our group of 11 friends booked Marina's perfume making class as our "French experience" during a pre-wedding trip to Paris. Marina was very accommodating, creating a time for us on a Paris public holiday. The class was great. We learnt the tips and tricks and then experimented by making 3 scents each. All of this was in Marina's beautiful home... More

This was a wonderful and unique experience. I took my 17-year-old daughter and we spent the afternoon learning how to make our own perfume. Marina was wonderful. She began with an overview of the different oils and fragrance categories. Then instructed us and how to mix and create our own signature scents. She was more than generous with her time... More

Marina made our girls afternoon a real French experience teaching us how to make our very Paris scents! It was very relaxing as we concocted our own personal perfumes under Marina's guidance listening to french music! A very memorable afternoon!

Four of us did Marinas class and it was tres fantastique! She explained all the different categories of scents and how to mix them, it was so interesting. We all made 3 three samples then chose our favorite for our large take home bottle. The packaging was very nice as well. I bought an additional large bottle for a great... More

This experience is a must for those interested in compositions of fragrance and tying it into the history of fragrance. You learn the basics then create your own special fragrance. This was a return visit, and a wonderful afternoon. Since it often rains in Paris, it was perfect. Marina the instructor is patient, honest and fun. We've done the creation... More

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
