My favorite part of milling about Paris, France is meandering around Tuileries Garden and admiring the statues. When I say I'm obsessed by them, it's an understatement. I was so moved by the art that it brought me to tears. I had to stop at the bookstore to capture the moment and bring home a special souvenir. Definitely recommend stopping by there when you're at the gardens.

We didnt manage to go to the book store bu to the Garden itself.
We arrived by 6.30 PM to the Garden and the weather was super cold , the ground was muddy and there were no lights !
Luckily we had Paris wheel to guide us out , this is Being said means either Go in the morning for a walk and exploration or start with the wheel from the Concorde station.

This bookstore, connected to and benefiting the Louvre Museum, is located at the opposite end of Jardin des Tuileries close to Place de Concorde and on the opposite corner from Musee l'Orangerie. It is chock full of books in French, English, and other languages on the subject of gardens. While there in September I purchased the first book of Alain Baraton's to be translated into English. He is the head gardener in-chief of Versailles. I also purchased an overview of gardens and public parks in Paris, an old fashioned book on roses, and a funny wind up bug toy.
