A perfect way to see the beautiful gardens and house of Monet and the spectacular Palace of Versailles. Jean-Paul was an excellent guide for our small group tour. He was engaging, articulate, informative and humorous, providing interesting anecdotes about life in Paris and the French villages along the way. We are able to skip the lines and Jean Paul showed us where to go to avoid the crowds and get the best views. This tour was one of the highlights of our holiday. Thank you, JP!

Great tour experience for our family. We truly enjoyed our tour with Ange, he was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us as we toured with him with our elderly mother in a wheelchair. He showed us around Claude Monet's house and Versailles Palace on a private tour. We learned so much about the history of these historical places and we had such a wonderful time.

Ange was our tour guide for Versailles and Giverny and he was excellent. We were picked up on time. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and explained so much history to us. We learned so much! It was private tour and we were given personalized service. I would highly recommend taking a tour through Normandy! Thank you for making our trip extra special even in the rain!!

Jean Paul was very knowledgeable and easy to speak with. He took us to the Monet water garden first before it was too crowded. We then wandered the garden and home. Afterwards he drove us to Auvers and we visited the inn where Van Gogh died. I thought it would be morbid but it was respectful. He showed us the scenes that Van Gogh painted and eventually Van Gogh’s grave. While we ate lunch he moved the van to the cemetery as walking a long time is hard for me. He was a very good and thoughtful guide. Highly recommend. I was a wonderful day. Many tours do not include Auvers as a Van Gogh fan I loved this day. I will always remember it.

Our driver picked us up at our hotel and we arrived in front of the Palace just on time. We were informed tha due to the transportation workers strike the opening of the site was moved back until 10:00. Great communication! Our guide Anna arrived shortly after we did and, seeing that the gates weren't open yet, took us over the Royal Stables where, as luck would have it, there were several horses working out. Anna gave us an overview of the day and off we went. Now, there was a large group from an asian school and Anna wanted to make sure we had priority entrance. Once inside she told us that she really admired "Lulu" (her nickname for Louis XIV) and all through the tour gave us great information about the palace, life there, some of the intrigue, etc. When we got to the Hall of Mirrors it was practically empty and Anna said she had to take a picture because her colleagues would never believe her as the crowds were usually incredible.
We walked outside through the gardens on the way to the Petit Trianon, stopping for lunch on the way. Because PT is small it didn't take a lot of time to see but it was interesting none the less. Then we walked to the Queen's Hamlet - an unexpected and overlooked area of the Estate. The site still has animals living there and products raised on the Hamlet's farm are sold to local restaurants.
Anna made the whole day fly by. She is a great story teller and so knowledgeable about the site. It was such an awesome day! Highly recommended (and ask for Anna!)

Dear guests, We are very glad that you enjoyed your private day trip to Versailles. Visitors are indeed very huge in Versailles, whatever the season. Also we recommend a professional guided visit. It is the only way to skip the line at the entrance of the Palace. Only professional tour guides can give you comments inside the Palace. To guarantee you the best possible experience, all of our guides have been carefully selected. Combining their knowledge and personalities, they like to give life to Versailles in all aspects - from the castle and the gardens to the life of the great kings and queens, but also to the darker currents of judicial traditions, political tensions, passion mortal who made the daily lives of mistresses, lovers, courtiers of Versailles. We are delighted that you had a great day with Anna, thanks again and we hope see you soon. Best Regards

We loved this day trip for our family of 4! 2 adults and 2 teens. Our guide, Jean-Paul, was great. Informative day and loved both the Versailles tour and Giverny gardens.

Jean-Paul was our guide. Picked up at our hotel on time. A pleasant drive to Giverny in comfortable Benz. No other people on this trip so we had an easier time navigating through the sites and one to one attention. Jean-Paul is very knowledgeable in the history of Monet as an artist and his family life. We exited the vehicle at the entrance and Jean-Paul moved the van to the exit point, to walk to the burial site and drove us to the restaurant where he picked us up after our lunch. He had a table reserved for us, again avoiding large groups. The lunch was great. We were not rushed. Back to Paris to stop at the Monet Museum. Jean-Paul explained the art work on display.
The garden at this time had most of the garden in bloom. The water lilies just beginning to bloom.
Be aware stone paths and steps need to be considered if you have walking issues We would not recommend many sights if using a wheelchair or have difficulty walking. The gardens would be too narrow for wheelchairs and the number of people at this site would make navigating not possible. The Monet museum has a lift.
To get to the workshop requires going through a small restaurant and being in large groups would not work.

Jean-Paul provides information on what we were seeing on the drive.

Giverny is in Normandy and if desired, staying over night to visit Caen can be included. The Monet visit was enough for us for the day.
We are very pleased with tour.

We had great weather during our visit to Paris so we were able to be outside.

Giverny with the Monet gardens and famous ponds was a wonderful place to visit. We went with our cruise ship friends. What an experience to stand on the bridge and gaze at the beautiful ponds and lily pads. Then walk around the gardens to see all the varieties of flowers. The house with its photos and artwork was very interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Monets life. It was well worth it!
