Yes, there were crowds, but July is the peak time for tourists. Yes, the tour took longer than anticipated, but the commentary was really interesting and the Tour Guide, Audrey, was so patient and informative, answered all our questions and had a lovely sense of...More

The tour is purported to take 75 minutes. It takes MUCH longer. Whatever time your schedule meets at, you won’t enter Versailles I until at least 30-45 minutes later (the group has a reservation 30 minutes after the group meeting time due to a 10-minute...More

False advertising.!!! BUYER BEWARE Payed extra (above regular tickets to tour palace), only to WAIT 45 MINUTES in the 90 degree HEAT. Crazy. Once we walked as a group of 20-30 or so from the ticket office to the castle, we waited outside in the...More

Don’t buy Paris pass unless you are young and in very good physical shape. Doesn’t work in Versailles and metro card quit working after one day.

Giuseppe and the rest of the staff at Guidatours were great. They made a Byzantine and just downright horrible entrance process bearable. If you have to see Versailles, then I would recommend Guidatoirs.

I really recommend booking the tickets for Versaille castle with guideatours. The queue at the ticket counter was incredible long on a holiday, but with our fast lane pass we skipped the line and entered the castle in less than 15 minutes instead of 3-4...More

Within a short time of 1,5 hours in advance we booked the Versailles Tour here and were fascinated by the good organization. First we received a Versailles plan and garden tickets. Then we met our very nice guide Cassandra and followed her to the starting...More

Dear Laurie, I think your best option is to make a booking for a conference tour directly at the website of the Palace of Versailles. The Palace of Versailles is the only one who has tours of the private appartments. When... More
