Walking distance from the castle. you have access to an authentic XVIII "hotel particulier". This museum, away from the noise and the crowd is the historical museum of the city holding several sculptures and paintings, but more astonishing, you will be transported to the XVIII...More

If anyone is interesting to see more classical furniture, scultpures and paintings after visiting the Palace and Trianon, yes it is well worth the time. Try to schedule your visit during temporary exhibitions.

Since I had two night in Versailles, I walked to this museum and am so glad that I did. It is an eclectic collection of decorated rooms, art, collectibles and history. Reasonably priced and worth the effort in finding it!
