Between this and the gardens we were almost uninterested in touring the palace. The trianons are so interesting and the hamlet was charming! The kids loved the bunnies and we could've watched them all day!

The Trianons are the cozy part of the whole castle and gardens. It is a bit offside of the main gardens and the castle. If you have already seen the castle and the gardens it is not that impressive anymore but you will understand why...More

The Trianon has some fun furniture and a more realistic feel to it then the Chateau. It's still over the top ostentatious, but smaller. The grounds are nice, but it all feels a little less after seeing the Chateau.

So much less crowded because not many people want to walk 15km in a day. The hamlet is worth it and the deliberately informal grounds are lovely. The houses are on a smaller scale with better furniture and a lot less people that the main...More

If you are visiting Versailles make sure you visit here. It is amazing the hamlet is like being transported to a fairytale or Disney film, I wanted to move in. The hustle And bustle of Versailles feels a million miles away compared to this.

Hello, You can rent the golf cart on the North terrace. The terrace is located behind the chateaux, on the garden side. You will also need a valid drivers license -- US works and it costs 32 euros an hour. Have a great... More
